Standard Free UK delivery.
The vast majority of our product range will be delivered FREE OF CHARGE provided it involves one consignment to one UK mainland address. All consignments weighing more than 2kg are delivered using our Standard Courier service. Small items weighing less than 2kg may be delivered by Royal Mail or Courier. Our Free Delivery option refers to kerbside delivery unless specified otherwise. Please note delivery for the Asecos Hazardous Storage Cabinets includes placement behind the 1st door of the premises, please call our offices on 01724 281044 for alternative delivery options.
A delivery surcharge may apply for delivery of some products to certain outlying remote UK postcode areas and when a sea crossing is involved. Whenever possible we seek to absorb or minimize any additional cost.
Our Standard Free Delivery applies to one consignment to one UK mainland address. For heavy and high security products such as Safes we also offer delivery and placement and delivery and installation services that may incur additional charges depending on the site access conditions. Any extra costs for these options are clearly shown on the individual product pages and prior to checkout.
Your Price Guarantee
We guarantee that all and any surcharges and special delivery options that may apply will be clearly displayed in your shopping cart before you purchase so there are no hidden costs. Unless you contact us with special delivery instructions we will apply the most cost effective delivery option available to minimise the cost to the customer.

Avoiding Aborted deliveries –an important consideration
Please bear in mind that one consequence of offering such a vast choice of products is that many of our products are manufactured to order which may involve extended delivery schedules.
We are flexible to the extent that you may change your scheduled delivery day to suit your availability.
Delivery will normally be made at any time between 8.00am and 6.00pm Monday to Friday so it is important to make sure an authorized person is available to receive the goods. A box is also provided at checkout for you to request any special delivery instructions. Delivery at specific times of day can be arranged but will usually incur a surcharge. Please note that delivery may be affected by supplier stock takes. (We will endeavour to inform you of any delay resulting from a stock take and provide an alternative delivery date).
What happens if Delivery can’t be made?
If we are unable to deliver as arranged due to incorrect delivery instructions including inaccessible doors and flights of stairs then unfortunately you will incur an additional charge to cover the cost of re-delivery so please make sure you provide accurate information and that the premises are occupied on the due time and day. If you are in any doubt your best course of action is to discuss delivery with our sales support team.
Special Information regarding Delivery of Safes
Standard Free Delivery
Many safes are extremely heavy. Standard drop off delivery is generally on a tail lift vehicle and it is the customers responsibility to move the safe from the kerbside into their premises. Please note customers will not receive prior notification of the date or time of the delivery.
Delivery and Position
If steps are involved and/or you do not have means to move the safe into your premises we offer a Delivery and Position service. A team of two drivers will offload the safe and take it into your room of choice within your property. They will remove all packaging and give a demonstration of how the locks operate. Our sales team will contact you in advance of the delivery to make the necessary arrangements. Please note that if the safe needs to be manoeuvered up more than 3 steps the cost of this service will increase.
Delivery Position and Bolt down
All safes less than 1000kg in weight should be bolted down. If you would like this to be performed by a professional (as we recommend) we offer a Delivery, Position and Bolt down service. Your delivery will be accompanied by a skilled installation engineer who will carry out this work. They will remove all packaging and give a demonstration of how the locks operate. Our sales team will contact you in advance of the delivery to make the necessary arrangements. Please note that if the safe needs to be manoeuvred up more than 3 steps the cost of this service will increase.
In order to comply with test procedures any products which are ECB.S certified and weighing less than 1 tonne should be base fixed to a solid concrete floor. If requested to secure an ECB.S unit to a wooden floor then this will only be done at customers own risk and the customer must speak to their insurance company to clarify if a wooden fix is acceptable. Anything other than manufacturer fixing bolts are not recommended. If the delivery crew have reservations regarding fixing a unit but the end user insists installation is carried out then the end user will be asked to sign a disclaimer.
Delivery Restrictions (Safes/Fireproof Filing Cabinets)
It is the responsibility of the customer to advise of any access issues, including gravel or sloping driveways, low bridges and narrow tracks, roads or driveways and parking restriction etc. Deliveries are normally made on a rigid 18 tonne vehicle unless an arrangement has been made beforehand and an additional cost agreed. As a rough comparison these vehicles are approximately the same size as a fire engine or refuse truck (11m in length x 2.5m wide x 4m high).
